After writing my year end recap, I realized that I had to tell this story separately. This year has been full of ups and downs, growing up and change. I saw my photography business take off, people would stop me when I was out and about and ask me about Grape Soda Photography. In the summer of 2014 I would take the road less traveled and do something very special. Project Cleo was born.
When you lose some one very close to you human or animal, it rocks you to your soul. Losing Cleo had changed my life forever, I would never be the same person. Our goodbye would always be tragic and full of hurt. I needed a way to heal that part of my soul. Bringing peace and closer to other families with my gift was perfect!
Five amazing families invited me into there lives and homes this year. They will forever be connected to me and I to them. These beautiful pups are running free at the rainbow bridge. I hope when my time comes, I will meet Cleo and all of them at the bridge as well.
Each one of these amazing animals has touched me in such a deep personal way. Along with their families as well. I think many times people wonder how I do not cry. I do cry, on the way home. My mother can attest to this well as she is usually the one listening on the other end of the phone. I hope that Project Cleo will always have a place in this community, and can also some day touch people all around the world.
I also want to thank all the amazing people I have met over social networks, rescue organizations, and locally! You rock my world with your support, donations and just love :)
