Why you should celebrate your work

Running a photography group is no easy task. You are mom, mediator, teacher and most of all nag to hundreds of photographers. As the creator of a photography group, I have goals above my own personal ones. I wish to see every photographer succeed and conquer their dreams. Sometimes the hardest thing to teach is for someone to love their work, and see how amazing it is. Many times a day, I will hear "Eva, you were right!" Yes, it makes me feel satisfied, but I wish they could have seen it from the beginning. My most encouraging tip is to shoot for yourself, not just once a year, but many times a year. It will make you come alive as an artist and learn to appreciate your art. Celebrate your art work, blog about your year, pick your favorites and share them with the world.

Summer, Lifestyle, "Black and White", "Film noir", "Film", "Grape Soda Photography" "Favorite of 2014" "Family", child, children, water

This is my favorite image of 2014! It is not a client image but a fleeting moment I captured between my son and husband. It brings back memories of summer and warmth during these cold winter days. You never know when you are going to capture something amazing!

Always remember to celebrate yourself and your work!
